Founded in 1976, we have specialized in agricultural production, focusing our activities on key sectors of the economy.

1976

Acquisition of Sociedad Agrícola Golondrina. The Espírito Santo Group acquires Sociedad Agrícola Golondrina, which encompassed 23,911 hectares in Caazapá. This marked the first step in PAYCO growth within the agricultural sector.

1997

Expansion through the purchase of Ganadera Corina Campos y Haciendas. PAYCO significantly expands its land holdings and initiates livestock operations with the acquisition of Ganadera Corina Campos y Haciendas.

2012

Integration of Finca Carandayty. The Carandayty farm, located in Alto Paraguay, is incorporated, strengthening PAYCO presence in the livestock sector and expanding its territorial reach in the region.

2014

Strategic merger and establishment of PAYCO Paraguay. The merger of Sociedad Agrícola Golondrina S.A., Ganadera Corina Campos y Haciendas S.A. leads to the creation of Paraguay Agricultural Corporation S.A. (PAYCO Paraguay), consolidating its activities in the agricultural, livestock, and forestry sectors. 100% of its shares are held by PAYCO Luxembourg.

2023

PAYCO has been acquired by a group of investors focused on the rural sector. This acquisition marks a new milestone in the company’s history, driving strategic growth, innovation, and sustainable production.
